Welcome! Prairie Table is a non-profit educational organization that is part of a movement to build integrated local food systems in the Champaign County region. Prairie Table educates citizens about all the benefits of consuming and producing local, sustainably-raised foods and helps forge links between local customers, markets, restaurants, groceries and institutions. A new agriculture can turn our farmland areas back into thriving habitats of biodiversity with clean water and healthy soil. New local processing systems can provide economic activity, development and jobs in healthful industries. Prairie Table is dedicated to helping make those things happen.
